(1) (2) (3) No more drawing for at least 12 hours... nothing works! I feel like I might have had a minor stroke and forgotten how to draw.
(4) and (5) More opshop/market goods of the acid wash (soon to be studded) and sea-puppy (seal) varieties.
(6) Check out the hectic workspace... could be a reflection of my cluttered-up, super-busy, nonsense mind. Also note the massive black cockatoo feather my sister found for me the other day. Probably one of the best things I own.

Fresh and dreamy

Happy Friday... Hope the weekend brings excellent things.
(Two puppies on a bike ride--imagine!)

For sale

I now have a Society6 store, selling things like this and similar... it's here. I decided, after a whole year of procrastinating about printing my work, that I should just get someone else to do it for me.
I don't really care about selling stuff or not, but checking out all the cool artwork available/being produced is loads of fun.

Shiny paisely flares are definitely something I can support.

Pretty pictures from Free People’s book Through the Decades, due out in November.
Of course, it's the seventies chapter, featuring models: Elsa Hosk and Marianna Santana, photographer: David Bellemere, make-up: Deanna Hagan and hair: Patrice Delaroche.

Just doin' stuff, eating jellybeans... Making lists of things I have to do, which is never a good sign. I've been playing around with watercolours more and more because I want to paint, but going outside, finding my acrylic/spray paints, working out some canvas or wood and not having the dogs eat or touch anything just seems super complicated and drawn out. Plus I'm still thinking about what I'm doing--process and colours and layout.
Been thinking about Jim Morrison a lot too, but that's another story.
There seems to be a lot of things happening at the moment.
I never know if shit gets hectic, or normal life-speed freaks me out.

I'm furiously working on many different pictures... and part of my hair is blue/green again.

James

I could spend all day looking at James Jean's work and wondering how he does it... or where that kind of discipline and work ethic comes from.
Also wondering if, when he does these kind of moleskine/ink sketches, he ever gets half-way through and then thoroughly fucks it up and ruins the whole page.
Because that happens to me alot, and what I'm working with is not nearly as complicated.
